The ad recounts some of Julie Walters' most well-known roles, including Mrs Overall from Acorn Antiques, Sandra Wilkinson from Billy Elliot and Rita, in Educating Rita. Not forgetting her waitress in the 'Two Soups' sketch from Victoria Wood as Seen on TV.

So, why the scene with the nurse holding the baby? Well, when she was 18, Julie Walters trained as an SRN at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The music used in the advert is I Love to Boogie by T. Rex, from 1976. Although one of the band's most popular hits, it got no higher than number 13 in the UK charts.

Sharp-eyed viewers may have spotted that in the café Dame Julie is reading ‘A Bear Called Paddington’ by Michael Bond, a reference to her role as strict but kindly housekeeper Mrs Bird in the two recent Paddington films.
