The store is located on Market Street in the centre of the town. You’ll find us next to Costa Coffee, opposite Peacocks.

By Car:

The main route to Eastleigh is the A335, which runs from Junction 12 of the M3, south past Eastleigh and Southampton airport, to Junction 5 of the M27.
From here, the multi storey car park on Mitchell Road is well sign posted. Mitchell Road is adjacent to Market Street, so is only a few minutes’ walk away from the store.

By Train:

Eastleigh Railway Station is only a two minute walk from the store. On exit from the station, head across Station hill onto Leigh Road, when the Home Tavern is on the corner. Market Street will be your first left turn, where you’ll find us half way down the street.

By Bus:

Eastleigh bus station is on Uppermarket Street, which becomes Market Street after the junction with Leigh Road.

Your NHS Entitlement

Get a free eye test

Some patients qualify for a free NHS eye examination and optical vouchers. Find out if you are eligible for a free vision test.

Criteria	NHS funded sight test	NHS Optical voucher
Aged under 16
Aged 16, 17 or 18 in full time education
Aged 60 or over
Diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma
Considered to be at risk of glaucoma (as advised by an ophthalmologist)
Aged 40 or over and the parent, brother, sister, son or daughter of a person diagnosed with glaucoma
Registered blind or partially sighted
Eligible for an NHS Complex Lens Voucher (your optician will advise on your entitlement)
Claiming Benefit (Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Related Employment Support Allowance, Universal Credit, Income Support, Pension Credit Guarantee Credit or receiving Tax Credits and meeting qualifying conditions)
On a low income and named on a valid HC2 (full help) or HC3 (partial help) certificate

Firstly, the optician (apologies I didn't take his name) was very friendly and informative, detailing the purpose of the various tests conducted and explaining the most likely reason I have been experiencing headaches due to my vision. Also, the lady serving me in store (I believe her name was Andrea) provided a very personable service and spent time (quite a lot of time as I was very fussy!) with attempting to find the perfect frames in line with my requirements. When I returned to collect the new frames I was dealt with very quickly and efficiently.
