Newtownabbey - Abbey Centre - Vision Express

"I am writing to thank the staff at your store in Newtownabbey for their outstanding customer service.
I had a pair of glasses for 3 months and was not entirely happy with them but I persevered as I thought I just needed to get used to the new prescription which, like my previous pair were varifocals. Last week I decided to mention the difficulty I was experiencing to the staff in Vision Express. The female assistant spent a considerable amount of time with me, consulting her colleagues and trying to sort out my problem. In the end she recommended that I get a new pair as the design did not suit my needs visually. We then spent about 25 minutes trying to find a new frame.
My glasses had cost about £450 and I was alarmed at the thought of having to spend the same amount again. To my amazement, the assistant told me that the glasses would be replaced free of charge.
The turnaround time was estimated at 10 days which is perfectly acceptable but in actual fact I received a text 3 days later advising me that they were ready for collection. Furthermore, the Manager of the shop dropped them to my home that evening.
This is the kind of customer service that is so often lacking in the retail business today. The willingness to spend time with me and a genuine desire to gelp me with my problem is very much appreciated and deserves recognition.
I have been a customer at Vision Express for about 8 years and will have no hesitation in recommending this particular outlet to my family and friends."

"I would just like to say that the staff at the Newtownabbey Branch of Vision Express in the Abbey Centre were absolutely brilliant with my order for a pair of Ray-Ban tech sunglasses - I probably couldn't have been a pickier customer if I tried, and no matter how many times I came back to the store, himmed and ha'd over my choice of sunglasses, requested alternates from other Vision Express branches, the staff were always unbelievably polite and helpful. In the end, their help and advice left me completely satisfied with my purchase. The two girls that helped me out had great patience, and seemed to genuinely want to help me get the best product to suit my face. I think their names were Joanne and Denise, and despite me (unintentionally) making their lives very hard, continued to be utterly professional and approachable.

Anthony and Penny put us at ease and provide help,advice and explanations at every stage of the process. We hope you value such wonderful staff . Nowadays staff in shops can be very snappy and unhelpful. It was lovely to encounter your staff. Will be recommending this store."
