From the M1 and M62:
Merge on to the M621 and follow signs for Leeds Centre M621. Exit at junction 2 (A643 exit), at round about take 3rd exit on to A643 and continue straight on to A58, take exit towards Burley/ Kirkstall. Stay on A58. Continue on to Park Lane and continue until you reach the Headrow. Briggate is on your Right hand side however, this is a pedestrianised street. The main entrance to Trinity is located towards the bottom of the street.

Leeds City Centre, Railway Station. Exit train station and head down Boar Lane. You will come to Urban outfitters on your left hand side. There is an entrance to the Trinity shopping centre. Use the escalators to go to the floor above. We are opposite Next.

A big welcome from all the team here at the Leeds - Trinity store. We are here to look after your every need when visiting Vision Express, whether it's for an Eye Test, Contact Lens fit, choosing a new pair of glasses or just popping in for a simple repair.

Your NHS Entitlement

Get a free eye test

Some patients qualify for a free NHS eye examination and optical vouchers. Find out if you are eligible for a free vision test.

Criteria	NHS funded sight test	NHS Optical voucher
Aged under 16
Aged 16, 17 or 18 in full time education
Aged 60 or over
Diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma
Considered to be at risk of glaucoma (as advised by an ophthalmologist)
Aged 40 or over and the parent, brother, sister, son or daughter of a person diagnosed with glaucoma
Registered blind or partially sighted
Eligible for an NHS Complex Lens Voucher (your optician will advise on your entitlement)
Claiming Benefit (Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Related Employment Support Allowance, Universal Credit, Income Support, Pension Credit Guarantee Credit or receiving Tax Credits and meeting qualifying conditions)
On a low income and named on a valid HC2 (full help) or HC3 (partial help) certificate

"I have just returned from a visit to your store in the Leeds Trinity Centre and the team were very helpful and redeemed my faith in good customer service. I have some reading glasses and one of the rivets which attaches the arm had come away. It required the frame to be sent away for repair, however, after I explained I had an important meeting this afternoon which would require me to view some documents the team quickly identified an identical frame to pop my lenses into. In the time it took to collect my mobile number to text me when they would be ready the job was complete.

"Very thorough eye test saved my sight in one eye. Optician couldn't see problem and because of symptoms called me back for another NHS test using pupil dilation drops the next day - she then called St James eye dept for me and got me an appt the next morning; just as well as I had a detached retina and needed immediate surgery. This could so easily of been missed by a high street optician, so full marks as if I had waited the detachment would be almost impossible to fix - the operation 2 weeks ago was a success."

The service I received was absolutely first class. The optometrist Neelam was incredibly thorough with my eye test but a special mention to the sales assistant Aqsa who was friendly and unbelievably helpful. Both are a credit to your organisation.
