By Car:

Heading North West on the A20, exit left at the A224, heading towards Orpington.

At Crittall's Corner, take the 1st exit to stay on the A224. Follow the road for 2.2km. Nugent Shopping Park will be on your left.

Nugent Shopping Park offers over 320 parking spaces, where you can park free for 3 hours.

By Train:

St Mary Cray railway station is approximately 6 minutes walk from the store. From the station, walk along Sevenoaks Way until it ends and meets Cray Avenue. Then turn right, and Nugent Shopping Park will shortly be on your right.

By Bus:

The following bus services go to Nugent Shopping Park: 51, R1, N47, B14 and R11.

Your NHS Entitlement

Get a free eye test

Some patients qualify for a free NHS eye examination and optical vouchers. Find out if you are eligible for a free vision test.

Criteria	NHS funded sight test	NHS Optical voucher
Aged under 16
Aged 16, 17 or 18 in full time education
Aged 60 or over
Diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma
Considered to be at risk of glaucoma (as advised by an ophthalmologist)
Aged 40 or over and the parent, brother, sister, son or daughter of a person diagnosed with glaucoma
Registered blind or partially sighted
Eligible for an NHS Complex Lens Voucher (your optician will advise on your entitlement)
Claiming Benefit (Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Related Employment Support Allowance, Universal Credit, Income Support, Pension Credit Guarantee Credit or receiving Tax Credits and meeting qualifying conditions)
On a low income and named on a valid HC2 (full help) or HC3 (partial help) certificate
A prisoner being seen outside prison

"I bought a pair of Ted Baker glasses around a year from the Ashford branch of vision express. They developed a slight discolouration on the arms so I took them this evening to the Nugents Park branch for inspection. I was met by a young lady who was on her first day of employment with this branch. She was welcoming and empathetic to my concerns. Unable to sort my problem she went and got a lady who was exceptionally helpful and totally customer focused. I suspect she was the manager and if not should be nominated for this position. I am in retail myself and rarely do I experience service of this quality I would recommend this branch and the staff to anyone. Well done."

"My mother (Joyce) had her annual check-up at your branch at Nugent Estate, Orpington, Kent this morning. She suffers from the aftermath of a broken hip and is very slow walking etc. The optician and other staff were brilliant...helped her...took her arm...moved furniture...didn't rush her or complain. She was overwhelmed at their kindness, and the optician was very thorough and made her visit a pleasure. Thank you to all concerned."
