Basingstoke - St John's Walk - Vision Express

"My mother, Mrs Craven, has used Vision Express for some years and usually has been looked after by Jack Burford.
My mother has expressed, on a number of occasions, what an an exceptional way that Jack has, and how very polite and caring he is in his approach with my elderly mother.
I have never met anyone else who has been so patient, kind and tolerant towards a customer, and today was no exception. He went out of his way to sort my mother's glasses out in a sympathetic manner.
There are many young people who are outstanding in their manner but I have to say Jack must take the prize for outstanding customer service.

"I usually shop at another high street optician but went into Basingstoke Vision Express as I could not find any frames that I liked. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Dave A who was incredibly polite, patient and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions but what I appreciated the most was his honesty. I was unsure myself about the frames that I had chosen but he was honest enough to suggest a slightly different size in the same style that suited my face shape more. He helped me to get the right lens options for my prescription without me feeing pressured into buying more expensive options - again, honest and transparent. This is the first time in many many years of selecting new glasses that I have felt fully confident about my purchase. Dave's customer service was exceptional."

A massive thank you to the Harriet Brown who I cannot fault for perfect customer service.
She really took the time to help me chose my new frames, she listened and took on board all what I said.
Harriet gave a personal touch to the customer service she provided to me and made me feel more than welcome, at no point even when the store became busy did she get distracted or try to rush me out of the shop. I honestly cannot thank her enough for her help today choosing my new glasses and sunglasses.

"Just wanted to say how brilliant everyone has been at the St John's Walk, Basingstoke branch. Ian and the team have all been so helpful and caring over the last two months that I've been sorting out new lenses and glasses. It hasn't been straightforward but I think I've been looked after at some stage by everyone in the branch and they've all been fantastic and should be recognised for that. It takes a bit of effort to go the extra mile and most people just don't bother. But everyone in this branch seems to care about their customers and it makes the whole process far more pleasant than you'd expect. My husband has found the same. Thank you."
