"I would just like to send positive feedback about my partner's and my visit to Vision Express, Cathedral Way, Cardiff.
Our optician was very patient which we were pleased about but more than that the salesman, Chris Williams I believe his name was, exceeded our expectations and made sure that Vision Express would certainly be our first point of call next time we require eye tests.
He was polite, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable and deserves commendation from head office in my opinion.
We spent almost 400 pounds between us in store that day and, although we are yet to receive the glasses, we currently feel that it is worth every penny when you have received the kind of service Chris provided.
We hope and expect that he will go far in either your company or within the industry and wish him the best of luck in his endeavours.

"About a week ago, I had some irritation in my eye, and on the 7th of June I had gone to my optician; not Vision Express. From having an extremely bad experience from my optician, I decided to book an eye test with Vision Express and get a second opinion of what was wrong with my eye. This was my first time with Vision Express.
I had my eye test with Daniel Mcghee. This guy was an utter gentleman! From almost passing out at my old optician, Daniel was extremely patient with me. He managed to find out what was wrong with my eye; which was completely different to what I was originally told at my old optician. Daniel explained what was wrong in a clear manner, and was able to fix the problem.
Following from my eye test, Daniel called two days after to see how my eye was. From all the other opticians I've been to in the past, I've never had an optician check on me. This is very pleasant part of the service they offer.
The customer service I received was utterly amazing! The staff were extremely helpful, and I still can't thank Daniel enough. I've been wearing glasses for almost all of my life now, and he's by far the nicest and best optometrist I've had to this date."

My Optometrist Daniel was to the point, easy to talk to, and good humoured (the latter is not a necessity, but makes an eye test much, much easier). The eye floaters I have suffered from for many years have always caused me concern, but he completely set my mind at ease and offered really useful, practical advice.
Following my eye test I wanted my glasses to be checked against my prescription, which was dealt with by Jonathan quickly and without question. I would also like to stress that he didn't pressure me to purchase any further services or frames, which I feel is symbolic of good customer service.

I would like to express my utmost praise for your staff at Vision Express Cardiff (St. Davids).
I found myself without my only pair of glasses as the result of a bag theft, and due to my ridiculously poor eyesight was in need of a new pair of glasses very quickly.
The service I received was exceptional, from walking in requesting an eye test with no notice, to having my glasses (which lenses you do not stock on site) ready in under 4 days. The staff took a personal interest and care in my problem, and nothing was too much for them.
My main service was from Natalia, however every member of staff with which I had contact was positive.
I have never before sent a praise of service letter, but in this case I really feel it is the least I can do.

I wanted to bring to your attention a recent major health problem that was luckily first spotted by an Optician at Vision Express in St Davids Centre in Cardiff. During a routine eye examination she spotted something in my eye and arranged for me to visit the Emergency Eye unit at Heath Hospital, where I was then referred to a specialist unit in Liverpool. I was diagnosed with a rare and fatal Cancer, a Choriodal Melanoma.
Thanks to the sharp eye of the Optician I've now been treated for the Primary Tumour but more importantly I'm being screened for lethal secondary tumours and hopefully I'll survive for a few more years to come. I'd like to say thanks to that young Lady Optician for whom I owe a great deal to.

I just want to acknowledge their efficient customer service, they were prompt and got the problem sorted out as quickly as they could even though Oakley's customer service and workmanship was awful.

Over the years, I have been a customer of Bolton, Sheffield, Livingston and my home store, Dunfermline.
Today, I visited your store in the St Davids Centre, Cardiff where yet again I received an excellent level of service, politeness and a genuine interest in helping me out.
I was working in Cardiff, ran out of contact lenses (new supply due in on Friday) and last night my glasses broke!
It was only a small repair that was needed. However, it was important to me that the repair was done quickly because I cannot drive or work without my glasses.
Within a half hour my glasses were fixed and you give me a set of contact lenses to keep me going. I tried to pay for the service, but the assistant wouldnt take a payment!
Good service is hard to come these days, but I have to say, I would recommend Vision Express to anyone.
You are a great brand that consistently have exceeded my expectations in service.
