"I just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the Canterbury store.
On the 21st Feb I took my elderly father's glasses in as he had accidently stood on them.
The receptionist was extremely helpful and stated that they wouldn't be able to fix them straight away and there would be a charge of £15 (which we didn’t mind in the circumstances) but if we wanted them straight away to try other independent opticians in town.
Well as it was his only pair, we tried the other opticians only to be told in one shop that he would need new frames, and in the other they could not be fixed at all!!!
So we went back to Vision Express and the lady could not of been more helpful.
She said that it could take up to 10 days but she would try and hurry it through.
We are very happy to report that they arrived on the Sat 25th.
We are so pleased and feel we wanted to express how pleased we are as everybody is so quick to complain about things these days.

I am a student and when back at home I work at Boots, and I often get badgered about customer services as we need x percent of this, that and the other for our store to be good this month..... so after the amazing service I received, I asked the store manager if there was a similar thing, but there isn't.
Now, living in the state of the world we do now, you seldom hear a 'thank you' which is depressing, so this is my thank you to your Canterbury branch.
On the 12th April, I went in to their branch as I was getting severe headaches from the tonnes of revision I had been doing for my finals.... so I had the test and the guy said I need glasses for close work. So I picked out my glasses.
Unfortunately the women who was serving me said that they didn't have my strengths in stock, and due to the glasses fixing man going on holiday, I wouldn't be able to collect the glasses until around 10 days later.
With my headaches and my finals beginning on the 8th May, I pleaded with the team to try and do something so I could get them ASAP.
So the women who was serving me, I think her name was Hannah, then asked the store manager Carol if anything could be done. So after some umming and erring, Carol really pushed out the boat and did everything she could. So the store in Dover were able to send over the strengths so I could get them the following day.
So now, since wearing the glasses for revision, I have had ZERO headaches, meaning maximum revision time, which makes me a very happy chap! If however Carol wasn't the kind woman she is, then I would have had many headaches, reducing my revision time dramatically and pondering how well my exams are going to go.
Carol really went out of her way to ensure I got my glasses as soon as I could!
I really would like you to thank them for me.
At Boots this is known as 'Legendary Customer Care' and I can 100 percent tell you that the team there surpassed that and were just truly amazing!
On another note, the male optometrist that checked my eyes was proper cool! No boring stuff, had a good patient bonding skill! Always good when you got someone staring in your face!
Please please please!!!!!! Thank them from some high up the pecking order manager person. The team truly deserves it!!

"I am so grateful to the staff of the Canterbury store.
It was my first visit to an opticians since I was a child and they made me feel very reassured and welcome. They gave me the test straight away and didn't even mind that I didn't have my HC2 exemption form with me. During the test the optician was very helpful and explained why I ought to wear the glasses she was prescribing when working on a computer, despite my vision being fine.
Another lady then helped me choose out a pair of frames that suited me. They said I can bring in my forms when I pick up the frames in a couple of days, no problems at all.
In the past they have also been extremely helpful with my partner, who depends on his glasses all the time, and do minor repair work quickly and cheaply for him.
