The store is located on Market Street in the centre of the town. You’ll find us next to Costa Coffee, opposite Peacocks.
By Car:
The main route to Eastleigh is the A335, which runs from Junction 12 of the M3, south past Eastleigh and Southampton airport, to Junction 5 of the M27.
From here, the multi storey car park on Mitchell Road is well sign posted. Mitchell Road is adjacent to Market Street, so is only a few minutes’ walk away from the store.
By Train:
Eastleigh Railway Station is only a two minute walk from the store. On exit from the station, head across Station hill onto Leigh Road, when the Home Tavern is on the corner. Market Street will be your first left turn, where you’ll find us half way down the street.
By Bus:
Eastleigh bus station is on Uppermarket Street, which becomes Market Street after the junction with Leigh Road.

read more »I think in this day and age people are too quick to complain about services, but not to praise where praise is due.
I visited your Eastleigh branch earlier this week in order to join your contact lens direct debit scheme and to buy some new glasses. I spend a lot of my time working in China (I'm based in Eastleigh when I'm working in the UK). I am next due to leave on the 30th January, so my time window was very tight.
The team at Eastleigh managed to fit me in for an eye test and a contact lens fitting, helped me select a new frame, giving genuine and honest advice as to which style best suited me and then ensured that they, as well as three month's supply of contact lenses, were delivered to store all within three days.
I am very, very grateful for this amazingly quick turn around and I really couldn't have asked for any more.
As well as this, what I am extremely happy about is the quality of service. The team in Eastleigh are extremely warm, welcoming and genuine, so you always feel like you are dealing with real, genuinely friendly and helpful people, rather than plastic sales persons. I felt that they went over-and-above for me with every aspect of service and because of this I will never shop anywhere else for glasses or contact lenses and will happily recommend the store to anyone.
I really hope that my thanks can be passed back to the store from head office as I'm sure you'll be very proud of the way the team represent Vision Express.
Good Morning - I would like to say what wonderful helpful staff you have at your Eastleigh (outside Southampton) branch! I can not recommend them highly enough-Priyash the optician is the best optician I have been to, he is thorough, polite & cheerful. he takes pride in his work which is so refreshing to see in this day & age. I have had a serious eye condition in the past & he wrote down all of my history so that it is on file. I first used Vision Express (Eastleigh) last year. Once my prescription was ready I was handed over to Michael, again he was exerienced in his field & explained fully & in a simple manner what varifocals do. I spent £363 in store & my husband was so impressed with the service that within the next few weeks he will be getting his glasses from there also. Thankyou Eastleigh branch!

I will perform your eye test and check your overall eye health during your visit and recommend the best optical solution for your needs. I'll take great care in making sure your looked after and any special requirements are catered for.
Optical Assistant
My role is to welcome you to the store and perform the initial examination in preparation for your sight test. I can answer any questions you have and advise you on which frames suit your face shape.
