"I was so pleased with the service i received at the White Rose branch. i was not expecting to buy any new specs for a while but due to an accident at work i had to get new ones! It was my first visit to a Vision Express opticians and at first i found the range of frames abit overwhelming. The store was very busy as it was Saturday afternoon but the lovely assistant that helped me never lost patience or rushed me while i made my decision. Adam Roshdon, was fantastic and never failed in finding me different frames to try on. In the end i made a selection of frames i wouldn't usually have even considered but Adam really did help me widen my approach to frames without being pushy at all. Thank You Adam!
On collection of my glasses an equally pleasent man, John Hibby, assisted me and made sure that my glasses fitted well and were right for me. Thank u John.

"I have a contact lens contract and came for my review in May 2013, this is following text reminders that is also part of the service. The service that I received was excellent, all the staff were brilliant, from the person that booked me in, the optician and lady who reveiwed my lenses, the people that I spoke to on the telephone and the gentleman that helped me pick some glasses.
I had been having a bit of trouble with reading with my lenses in and she was really helpful making changes to my prescription, answering any questions and changing my lenses that I was due to collect. The change in the lens strength has made a huge difference, making working much easier.
She also pointed out to me the discount that I can get with my lens contract and I ended up buying a new pair there and then. The gentleman that helped me was really lovely, especialy because I was on my own and needed another opinion. He also pointed out that I had a 30 day return policy so if I changed my mind it wasn't an issue.
I NEVER bother to comment on service and usually I find most things are middle of the road but the staff at White Rose are fantastic, I don't know how you are all encouraged to perform to such high standards but whatever you are doing it is working. I would not hesitate to recommend this store and in fact tell people about the great service even when they don't ask! Many thanks!!"
"I thought I would take the time to comment about my experience at your store today. I went in with my 16 year old son (Zakary Shand) and on the off chance asked if there were any appointments for eye tests today. We were told by Vicki Stone who was organising the appointments that we could be seen but there might be around a 45 minute wait. We were happy with this and she suggested looking at frames whilst we were waiting. Within 5 minutes Zak was taken for the initial part of his test. Whilst we were waiting we asked a sales assistant (sorry didn't get his name) about what offers were available. He was very helpful and took his time explaining what glasses went with what offer etc. Within the 45 minutes Zak had had the full eye test, the Optometrist explained his prescription to him and then came and explained it to me. Andy Gaskin came and showed Zak the glasses that were available, explained which frames would suit both his prescription and his face best. He was very patient and there was no pressure to buy anything that we didn't want to buy (thinner lenses, cover etc.). He explained that Zak's prescription would have to be ordered and would take about 3 weeks and ensured that we were ok with this wait.
In the 13 years that Zakary has been wearing glasses, this is by far the best experience that I have had whilst glasses shopping. I cannot thank both Vicki and Andy enough - they made a Saturday morning shopping expedition turn out pretty good."
"I made the decision to start wearing contacts, after several experiences of having lens fitted which may i add were painful and poor. I visited White Rose the staff in the store are very welcoming and helpful even if they are not assisting you directly they will still try and reassure you on the goods and sometimes bad things of contacts. After my decision to try them we were led upstairs by Adam to go through fitting and care of my lenses, i was to be fair very apprehensive about doing it myself but Adam was outstanding while showing care and attention he kept the situation light by still having a laugh which you need when feeling a little scared!!!Adam is first class and a credit to Vision Express my wife and myself will be advocates of your store purely because of Adam and his care and determination for thel lenses to work for me. Thank you Adam we will be back to see you in 3 months i hope we have the chance to deal with you in the future. Thanks once again "

"I wish to tell you about my experiance while visiting your store today . My husband and i had booked eye tests and as soon as we arrived we were greeted in a warm friendly manner by all your staff . My test was done by a lovely young man called Ben , he explained everything in good simple terms and i was impressed by how indepth the eye test was . Ben was really friendly and gave me more information and advice than i have received from a test before . We were then passed on to a lovely young lady called Gursharon who must have the patience of a saint ! She was fantastic and spent ages with us helping us choose our glasses and explaining all options for us both . Needless to say after about an hour and a half we left the shop about 600 pounds lighter but were really impressed with the service .
Its not often that I would take the time to send an e-mail but I think you should know you have some good staff out there .
"My daughter went into your White Rose store recentley for an general sight inspection ,the lady who did the test was called
Neelam Lugman. Her test was very thorough and as a result she found something wrong with my daughters sight.
She was refered to a specialist thankfully. What I want to say is Neelam Lugman has saved my daughters sight .She is now waiting for laser treatment which will cure the problem in time to save her sight . I cannot express how thankful we all are , as you can
imagine my daughter has been very lucky to have had her eyes tested when she did .Once again I would like to express my gratitude

"I just wanted to give you some positive feedback about the Leeds White Rose Centre Vision Express.
I have been so impressed with the level of service that I have received from the above branch. I have found in particular the following two members of staff that have provided me with exceptional service are Dispensing Optician Lina Yasmin Jaweed and the Optician Reham Al Mausawe they were most knowledgeable and helpful from the initial selection process to the final despensing/fitting etc.
I wanted to send you this feedback as all too often people complain about bad service and never make contact when they receive good service!

Also in addition I would like to add that the choice of frames in the White Rose Branch is very good and impressive. I looked at other Vision Express Branches and could not find anything I liked. "Today we visited the White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds. My wife had recently scratched her reading glasses and on the spur of the moment we thought - was there any way of saving them. We went into VE and was approached by one of your staff. Vicki went more than the 'extra mile'. She explained there was little that could be done for my wife's glasses. She then explained our options, and the various pricing tariffs on a range of glasses. I was amazed she could get our prescription 'on-line'. As a result of her very professional attitude we each bought new glasses, resumed our shopping and collected them after fitting an hour later. I spoke to Anthony, the Store Manager and let him know how satisfied we were with VE and Vicki in particular. Her manner, attitude and professionalism is a credit to her and to VE. "I visited Vision Express at the White Rose Centre for the first time and just had to write a review on such an outstanding service.
I had been suffering from severe eye discomfort for quite a long time which was not improving after three visits to my GP.
After a thorough examination at Vision Express I was transferred to an Ophthalmologist that very day.
A week later, having been prescribed the correct treatment my eyes are virtually back to normal and pain free.
I cannot praise this store enough."

"I had an eye test at White Rose, Leeds. I saw Simone for the test and she was really efficient and professional. She explained everything that was happening really clearly and did an excellent job of putting in lenses for a trial. I also saw Lina who helped me practice taking out the lenses and putting them back in. She was really helpful and patient and provided me with some really helpful tips.
I was really impressed with the exceptional level of service I received and left the shop feeling confident about my new lenses and happy having had a really positive eye test and shopping experience.
