"Hello, i recently bought 2 pairs of glasses from vision express (B.O.G.O.F. Ted Bakers) i am very happy with the service i received from you so there is no issue there. I have had my eyes tested with wheatcroft opticians since 2006 and regard myself as a loyal customer, however my most recent eye test was done incorrectly and as this is the prescription i used to buy my glasses from you it has rendered them useless. I am writing to you because i will no longer be using wheatcroft due to the very poor customer service i have received since (they have offered me a free eye test but every time i call to book it they say they are full). I am hoping you will be able to correct my eye prescription and the lenses in my glasses in return for my loyal custom. Thank you for taking the time to read this email.
"I had ordered 2 pairs of glasses, which were both Armani. The service which I received when I went to pick them up at the Princes Quay branch was excellent. Simon & his team deserve commendation for the way they looked after me; even though it was almost closing time & it looked like they had had a busy day, Simon went out of his way to ensure that I had them for the next day, which was Saturday. I have been with Vision Express for more than 20 years, but Simon really excelled himself on this occasion & felt strongly that he deserved a special commendation from me.
"I just want to tell you that your optometrist Christopher Dakeyne who is based at your Princes Quay shop in Hull, was more than helpful when he examined my eyes on Friday 10th November, nothing was too much trouble for him, he really made me feel at ease, in my opinion he is a great asset to Vision Express, both my wife and myself are very impressed with the way that he carries out his duties, (he has attended to her too)."
"I don't have one bad word to say about this store.
Dropped in today by chance to get an appointment and was having an eye exam within 5 minutes by the most polite, accommodating and funny woman I have ever been served by - Emily. The tests she did on my eyes were all explained to me, and I was encouraged during the air blowing ones! Which were a little shocking (not painful) haha!
I then waited another 5 minutes and was taken for another eye test by Chris, who was very quick in grasping the problems I'd been facing and I came out with a prescription allowing me to see the board again at University!
Another man then helped me pick out glasses who was helpful and thorough, we chose a pair and within half an hour he had my lenses fitted!!! So quick I was shocked.
Finally I was served by I think the manager of the store, who made me feel very comfortable and ensured my glasses were exactly what I wanted.
One of the best experiences I have ever had with customer service. I can't thank you enough as I can now read my computer screen clearly!!"
"I feel I must write to you following my recent eye test at your premises in Princes Quay, Hull, East Yorkshire. For more than 50 years I have worn glasses and needless to say I have had many eye tests during this lengthy period of time. These have been carried out with varying degrees of professionalism and courtesy, some good, some bad, others best forgotten.
On Friday 28 September, when my wife and I arrived early for our appointments, we were immediately offered a seat, and a cup of coffee or tea as there was likely to be a short delay before our tests were carried out. Only a few minutes later I was approached by a young lady optometrist, at first I thought she was one of your clerical staff, and shown into her â€˜officeâ€™.
The optometrist concerned, Ms. Saiema Kouser, could not have been more caring or professional. She was pleasant, polite, and courteous, and it was quickly apparent that nothing was too much trouble for her. Her explanations were clear and precise, and throughout the test she could not have been more helpful. It may sound strange, but it was a joy to receive such treatment from someone who was obviously in total command of their subject and was able to move through the various procedures in a manner which instilled a confidence in their ability to produce accurate results.
If this is the standard you hope for from your optometrists, then Ms. Saiema Kouser has set a bench mark of the highest order. If I require another eye test in a years time, then I hope I may have the privilege of once again having her services. I am not one normally given to write and comment on the treatment and service I receive, but when they are of such high quality, then I feel due recognition should be given and recorded. Please convey my thanks to her for her outstanding service.

I wasn't wanting to spend too much on this visit and this wasn't a problem to them at all as it can be in most places.

I recently came into store to get new glasses as my current ones had been damaged and felt that I needed to contact you to say what outstanding service I recieved from all of your staff at the store, especially the lady on the front desk (young girl red hair,my apologies I did not get her name) Chris and Simon the store manager.
As my glasses were damaged, and I was late for my appointment, Chris was incredibly apologetic fro keeping me waiting, my own fault I was late! By the time my eye test had finished your store had closed, however your store manager Simon offered to stay late and get one pair ready so that I had a pair to take with me then and there.
I cannot thank your staff enough for the help they offered and would like to make you aware that they are an asset to your company.
