Local optometrist raises money for childrens eye cancer charity |

| 20/04/2012 Optometrist Craig Farquhar of Vision Express in Chesterfield is hoping to raise over £1,500 for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust when he takes part in the Virgin London Marathon this Sunday. It will be the first time Craig has attempted to run a marathon he has been training since November last year and to date his longest run is 21 miles.

| 16/04/2012 Brown Eyed Girl will be one of many tunes being played live on piano at Vision Express in York next weekend. The store has recently been totally refurbished and now includes state of the art equipment in a relaxed and inviting environment, where customers can enjoy an individual eye care service. On Saturday 21st April a pianist will play live ‘eye-themed’ music such as “One vision and I can see clearly now”, as customers enjoy cups of tea and home-made cup cakes as they sit back and enjoy the new ambience.

Vision Express employees raise money for childrens eye cancer charity |

| 01/05/2012 Ten colleagues from Vision Express head office in Nottingham are in-training for the Three Peaks Challenge next month, raising money for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT). The fundraising team of ten made up of finance, payroll staff as well as friends and family, will attempt the challenge of walking the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours on 8/9th June to raise funds for Vision Express' nominated charity CHECT.
