But Shurl Stirling, 47, believes the prompt action of staff at the city's Vision Express opticians may have given her son a fighting chance as doctors in a Newcastle hospital treat him.

| 22/08/2011 A recent study by Which? has shown that Vision Express has fared well against other Opticians when it comes to optical care. The study showed positive results for Vision Express with ‘good’ and ‘OK’ reviews, and no negative feedback. Despite the absence of negative scores, Vision Express is taking steps to improve its service.
