Brown Eyed Girl will be one of many tunes being played live on piano at Vision Express in York next weekend. The store has recently been totally refurbished and now includes state of the art equipment in a relaxed and inviting environment, where customers can enjoy an individual eye care service.
On Saturday 21st April a pianist will play live ‘eye-themed’ music such as “One vision and I can see clearly now”, as customers enjoy cups of tea and home-made cup cakes as they sit back and enjoy the new ambience.
The store on Parliament Street has been open since October 1999 and the team now has a combined total of over 110 years optical experience.
Store manager, Judith Crowe said: “We hope that the people of York will be as delighted with the changes to our store as we are, where they will feel comfortable and more importantly happy with the experience they have with us, whatever the reason for their visit.
“The perfect reason to visit is if you are due for an eye test. Having your eyes tested is an important health check as it not only shows whether you may need a prescription, but can also detect eye conditions including dry eye syndrome and age related macular degeneration, as well as general health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.”
It is recommended that you have your eyes tested every two years or more frequently if recommended by your Optician. Vision Express York has over 100 ways to assess your eyes and can tailor an eye test to meet your individual needs.
Eye tests are available most days, and the team is always on hand to help you choose the perfect glasses for your style and budget from one of the largest designer collections on the high street including Superdry, Ted Baker and Gucci.
Right now, Vision Express has a fantastic offer in store with 2 pairs of designer spectacles for £99 from a selected range and a free sight test when you spend over £99.
