Vision Express Sponsor Notts County in their centenary year

29/07/2010

Notts County are delighted to welcome Vision Express as an official club sponsor, having signed a deal to have their logo on the front of the team’s away shirts next season.

The Notts brand has rarely enjoyed a higher status, following the media attention that the club received during their march to the League 2 title last season and Vision Express were keen to capitalise on this exposure.

With trips to Southampton, Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday to look forward to, amongst others, next season, the deal that Vision Express have signed with the Magpies will see their logo on show at some high profile stadiums throughout the upcoming campaign. "As a Nottingham based Company we are delighted to be supporting Notts County and feel that the relationship will work well for both parties," said Brian Linnington, Product and Marketing Director at Vision Express.

"We have a strong presence in and around Nottingham already with stores in the Victoria Centre and West Bridgford, so we’re pleased to be able to support Notts County as they prepare for life in the npower League 1 next season and having our logo on show around the country on the away kit is a great opportunity for Vision Express too."

Notts Chairman Ray Trew, who will now be using Vision Express as his glasses provider, was delighted to have secured such a prestigious company as a sponsor for next season.

"Vision Express represent exactly the kind of big-name brand that I want to attract to Notts County and this deal represents a real coup for the club as we prepare for the new campaign," said Mr Trew.

"I am confident that the Vision Express logo will become synonymous with success at this club and, as a glasses wearer myself, I am looking forward to a long and productive working relationship between us."
