National Health Week - Vision Matters

At Vision Express we are well aware that not enough people in the UK are looking after their eyes properly and we hope that National Eye Health Week will help bring attention to this worrying issue.

Phil Hyde (Head of Professional Services) at Vision Express says "Sight is the sense people fear losing the most, but there are still a lot of people who don't look after their eyes properly. The number of eye tests taken each year nationally is falling and this really worries everyone in my profession."

National Eye Health Week starts on Monday 14th June. During the week eye care charities, organisations and health professionals from across the UK join together to promote the importance of eye health and the need for regular eye tests for all.

If you haven't had an eye test in the last couple of years we strongly recommend that you book yourself in to see one of our Optometrists soon. Sight tests don't just check your vision, they include a full examination of the eye that can also pick up on conditions such as Diabetes or Glaucoma.

For further information or to book an eye test, locate your local store and then book online
